The cheapest homes in Europe are advertised in Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish and Italian, on sites no English-speaking buyer ever finds. We read them so you don't have to.
Picked by hand out of the — on the site.
No scrolling past things you can't afford. If it's here, it costs less than a secondhand car.
Not lifted from another cheap-property site. Each listing comes from the local agency, portal or private seller advertising it.
We don't sell property, take commission, or ask for your email before showing you a price.

Bargain Property Abroad puts affordable European property in front of British buyers who are actively looking and know roughly what they want to spend. If you're an estate agent with stock under £50,000 — anywhere in Europe, in any language — we'd like to carry it.
Listing is free while we build our audience. No commission, no exclusivity, and every enquiry goes straight to you — we don't sit between you and the buyer.

There is a great deal of cheap property in Europe. Almost none of it is advertised in English.
A stone house in the Abruzzo mountains for £5,000. A 124 m² house in northern Sweden for £30,000. A house a twenty-minute walk from a Baltic beach for less than £20,000. A four-bedroom house in central France for under £13,000. These are real, they are for sale today, and they are on this site.
But when a British buyer searches for a cheap house in Latvia, what comes back is Riga apartments at £150,000. Not because the cheap ones don't exist — because the agencies that publish in English are the ones selling to foreigners, and selling to foreigners means selling the expensive end. Nobody builds an English shop window for a £20,000 farmhouse. So it sits on a Latvian site, described in Latvian, and for most British buyers it may as well not exist.
The cheapest homes in Europe are hiding in plain sight, in languages nobody thinks to search in.
That's the whole idea. This site reads the local sites — French, Italian, Latvian, Serbian, Albanian, Finnish, Lithuanian, Polish, Swedish, Estonian, Portuguese — finds what's genuinely affordable, converts it to pounds, explains where on earth it actually is, and points you straight at whoever is selling it.
For now the whole site is Europe. That's deliberate: Europe is where a British buyer can drive to a viewing, where the legal side is familiar enough to navigate, and where the language gap is the only real barrier — which is precisely the barrier this site exists to remove. Other parts of the world will follow once Europe is properly covered.
A cheap house is cheap for a reason, and usually several. Most of these need work. Many are in places young people have left. Buying abroad normally means no mortgage, fees of around 10% on top, and a lawyer you'll need to find and pay for yourself. A £11,000 house is rarely an £11,000 project.
The artwork on the cards is drawn, not photographic — it shows the kind of property, not the property itself. Open the listing for the seller's own photographs. Prices are converted at the rate on the day they were checked and will drift; the seller's price is the real one. Listings are checked regularly, but things sell, so confirm before making plans.
[Your name] — [a line or two: who you are, and what made you start looking at cheap property abroad in the first place. This is the part people actually read.]
If you are an estate agent, a portal or a private seller and one of your listings is here, it carries your name and links straight back to you. If you would like it changed or taken down, say so and it will be done the same day.
One person reads all of this, so replies come from a human rather than a helpdesk.
Questions about a property, a country, or how any of this works. If a listing looks wrong — a price that's out of date, a link that's broken, something already sold — please say, and it gets fixed.
If you sell property under £50,000 anywhere in Europe, in any language, it belongs here. Listing is free while the audience is being built. No commission, no exclusivity, and every enquiry goes straight to you — nobody sits between you and the buyer.
The easiest thing by far is a feed. If you already publish an XML export for the portals — Kyero, Resales, Apimo or similar — send the URL and everything else takes care of itself, photographs included. A spreadsheet is just as welcome.
Every listing here comes from a public advertisement, credits whoever placed it, and links back to them. If you'd rather yours weren't included, no explanation needed — send the link and it comes down the same day.
Nobody here will ever ask you for a deposit, a holding fee, a transfer, or your bank details. If you get a message claiming to be from this site and asking for money, it isn't from us — please forward it so it can be reported.
Written in plain English, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.
This was drafted carefully but not by a solicitor. If the site starts earning money, have it reviewed by one.
There is no sign-up, no account and no newsletter. You can use every part of this site without telling us who you are, and we will never ask for your email before showing you a price.
We set no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels, and we do not sell, rent or share anything with data brokers. The lawful basis for the above is legitimate interest in running a working website — under UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(f).
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is used. Write to hello@bargainpropertyabroad.com and it will be dealt with within a month. If you are unhappy with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Email correspondence is kept for two years and then deleted. Server logs are kept for a matter of weeks.
Send the link to hello@bargainpropertyabroad.com and it comes down the same day. No explanation needed, and no argument.
At the moment, we are not paid at all. Nothing on this site has been paid for and no listing has been promoted.
That will change, and when it does you will be told on the page where it happens:
What we will never do: take a cut of a sale, accept money to bury a bad review, or let an advertiser decide what appears in a search result.
Nobody from this site will ever ask you for a deposit, a holding fee, a transfer or your bank details. Not once, not for any reason. If you receive a message claiming to be from us and asking for money, it is not from us — please forward it to hello@bargainpropertyabroad.com so it can be reported.
